My house is damp and attracts a lot of spiders and insects. What can I do to get rid of them?
Spiders and insects are attracted to the dampness and the moisture in the air and gravitate towards that environment. The best way to eliminate these unwanted guests is to make the environment as inhospitable to them as you can by lowering the relative humidity (moisture) in the air. Moisture in the home has many sources – plants, people, pets, cooking, washing, through your foundation and basement floor and most importantly, the air itself. In fact there is so much moisture in the air, only a large capacity dehumidifier can remove enough moisture to keep your relative humidity down. When the relative humidity gets above 50% - spiders and insects become prevalent.
The Solution:
Nature’s Aire Air Purification Systems are among the most technologically advanced products on the market. A Nature's Aire dehumidifier will maintain your basements relative humidity below 50% where spiders and insects don’t like to exist. It also means that mold, mildew and bacteria can’t grow. Our units also add a little heat so your home becomes a little warmer and a lot drier. You’ll never worry about emptying your dehumidifier because all Nature’s Aire units are self emptying. They’re also up to 1/3 less costly to operate because they automatically turn on and off as necessary to regulate the humidity. Plus Nature's Aire units are “whisper quiet.” You’ll never have to turn up the TV to hear over your dehumidifier again. Best of all our units are “invisible”. We can place them out of sight so you don’t have to decorate around them.
